Alex Rinehart, PhD, Director, Global Prevention Strategy, ViiV Healthcare, explains if cabotegravir interacts with any other medications. Dr. Rinehart shares that there is a known drug interaction with tuberculosis drugs. Although drug interaction studies have not been conducted yet for hepatitis C medications, Dr. Rinehart does not expect there to be any interactions. Dr. Rinehart also shares results of a drug interaction study involving contraceptives.
