Sunagawa is a clinical instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Pharmacy and a clinical pharmacist at the UNMC Specialty Care Center, HIV Program, both in Omaha. She is a member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists.
