“Increased collaboration with our transplant counterparts, [is needed] so that we [as infectious disease pharmacists] can gather more data and have more information on the optimal treatment of these patients, be it duration of therapy, what we should be using for impaired therapy, combination therapy, and how these therapies impact the immunosuppression of the patients in terms of drug [to] drug interactions.”
