At her university, Ohio State, they implemented an alert that would help with the management of Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia. Dr. Goff also notes that medical apps can also be useful for physicians, pharmacists, and nurses in that they can help guide them when it comes to the prescribing, monitoring, and utilization of different antibiotics.
