Fauci said that while he understands people’s need for normalcy and getting the economy back up and running, he also warns everyone to not simply throw caution to the wind. “
In other coronavirus news, a Harvard Medical School study team used national survey results to identify individuals at elevated risk for severe COVID-19 and, among them, those at high risk of financial ruin as a result of costs associated with their care.
And lastly, Moderna announced scaling up of manufacturing capacity for its investigational messenger RNA COVID-19 vaccine. Infectious disease experts have recommended that stockpiles of several promising vaccine candidates be created as they enter late stage development.
