Gallagher: In my editor-in-chief column in contagion for December, I discuss a law that was recently passed in California allowing pharmacists to dispense PrEP [pre-exposure prophylaxis] and PEP [post-exposure prophylaxis] without a prescription, and what that can mean if it is to go forward and be utilized in other states.
