So, coming up in In the Literature we have 2 fantastic articles that are looking at how do we dose antibiotics in gram-positive infections. We have 1 focusing on daptomycin — it’s a milligram per kilogram dose – so in our obese patients can we use a fixed dose -- Are our results the same?
Additionally, in vancomycin, using AUC-dosing can we mitigate some of the adverse reactions that we’re seeing when we’re doing q6 or q8 dosing in order to maintain troughs of 15-20.
