Vice President of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) and is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He served on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
