Segment Description: Jason Pogue, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP, clinical pharmacist and professor in infectious diseases at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, speaks with Contagion about the state of publishing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The contested articles came from a database which cannot be verified. The results also showed what some view as an unrealistic level of harm from the drug, even among hydroxychloroquine skeptics. A different publication, on use of the drug for out-patient prophylaxis, has offered less contested insight.
