
Smucker Issues Recall of Select Jif Peanut Butter Products
The company issued the voluntary action due to potential salmonella contamination concerns.
Late last week, The J. M. Smucker Co., the manufacturer of Jif select peanut butter, issued a voluntary recall of some of its peanut butter products sold in the United States due to potential Salmonella contamination.
To get the whole list of individual products recalled, the Food and Drug Administration has it on their website
For anyone who has these recalled products, they should dispose of containers immediately.
According to the company, the recalled peanut butter was distributed nationwide in retail stores and other outlets. Recalled products include the products below with lot codes 1274425 – 2140425. Lot codes are included alongside best-if-used-by date.
