Honeywell Voluntarily Recalls Eyesaline Eyewash

Honeywell announced a voluntary recall of one production lot of Eyesaline Eyewash as a precautionary measure.

Honeywell is voluntarily recalling one production lot of their 32 ounce bottles of Eyesaline Eyewash. According to an announcement released by the company, “no injuries have been reported and we have not found any contamination in our batch testing. [The] voluntary recall is a precautionary measure due to a low risk of product contamination with Klebsiella pneumoniae.”

The affected product and lot number is F16901-61. No other lot number is subject to this recall. All of Honeywell’s distributors who received this lot have been notified with instructions on how to contact their customers. Distributors can return the affected product for credit or replacement.

Both commercial and industrial users of Eyesaline Eyewash should check their product to see if it is subject to this recall. If it is, contact your distributor for replacement or credit.
